Rooted in the Han Dynasty culture, the packaging for Moutai Hanjiang, a type of Jiang-flavour Chinese Baijiu (also known as Chinese spirits), has been meticulously designed to trace and celebrate the Han Dynasty history and HanJiang's origin. These elements are vividly communicated to consumers through an intuitive design language, emphasizing the historical significance of the premium Chinese Baijiu.
To highlight the Hanjiang's culture root, which can date back to the Han Dynasty, the bottle shoulder features a distinctive pattern inspired by the cross-over front with a diagonally shouldered design — a clothing style commonly worn by the scholar-officials in the Han Dynasty as a mark of their status. This design incorporates original hand writing, and is complemented by indigo blue trims and red accents, exuding the noble ambience of cloisonne craftsmanship while preserving primitive elegance of history. Beyond its aesthetic allure, this pattern design also offers a practical benefit—an anti-slip grip. Furthermore, the product name "Hanjiang" on the bottle is rendered in the calligraphy font originated from the same era, deepening its historical connection.
The back label quotes a poem by Chen Xijin, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, eloquently communicating HanJiang's root and its tie to Moutai liquor. This cultural element showcases Moutai's cultural heritage, not only adding depth and meaning to the classic Hanjiang but also cementing its illustrious status in the world of Jiang-flavour Chinese Baijiu.
