Pathways of Tranquil Light

As the radiant sun pours in from the windows, it bathes every inch of the room in a soft, warm glow, infusing it with tranquil shades of beige. With the passage of day and night, the lingering light gradually recedes along the path of time, and as the deep night gently encases the home, the subdued warmth mildly emanates from the walls. The graceful room allows residents to escape the chaos and embrace the calmness that the space bestows upon their minds and bodies.

Guided by our client's preferences, we strategically eschewed excessive ornamentation and adhered to the original open-plan layout of the communal spaces. We adopt light, neutral tones and clean curves, which delicately craft a home with a soft, tactile quality. Our design also prioritizes convenience and safety for the occupants, with most furniture placed away from the walls, creating a flexible circular flow within the room. This project predominantly features materials such as coating, slim porcelain tiles, and metal fixtures that are easy to clean and maintain, ensuring a consistently tidy and inviting living environment to satisfy busy lives in the modern world. In consideration of the family members' professions and lifestyles, the living room features a spacious and comfortable L-shaped sofa. This arrangement allows the female homeowner, a counseling psychologist, to maintain an appropriate distance during face-to-face consultations. Additionally, a tailored, long desk at the rear provides the perfect parent-child reading space for homeowners and their children to enjoy precious family bonding moments.

In this design, the walls are predominantly coated in soft tones of beige and milk tea, not only creating a clean and concise Wabi-Sabi style but also, from a color psychology perspective, crafting an unwinding counseling area for the psychotherapy sessions. Complementing these serene colors, the curved designs in the beams, columns, and cabinets agreeably reduce the feeling of heaviness, gently resulting in an elegant and comfortable ambiance.
