Ink Painting - HENGMAO WEILAI DUHUI

The design adopts the traditional Chinese technique of “留白” (leaving blank space) to create an interior space that is filled with Chinese artistic concept. The designer skillfully combines the “留白” technique with modern elements, presenting a unique and elegant ambiance throughout the space.
The highlight of this design is the staircase area, where a clever fusion of refined cleanliness and the texture of natural stones creates a visual and tactile impact. The contrast between different materials and styles is emphasized, resulting in a distinctive atmosphere that combines primitive and industrial elements.
Using large blocks of natural stones as brushes and the entire space as canvas, the designer depicts an artful Chinese painting, evoking a serene and expressive atmosphere both inside and outside. Through the meticulous arrangement of stonework, the design expresses unique artistic charm in a harmonious balance.
The design is not only a form of decoration but also a tribute and interpretation of traditional Chinese culture.
In this project, one can feel the landscape imagery and the peaceful rhythm of life depicted in ancient poems. The designed home space creates a tranquil and balanced atmosphere, allowing people to find moments of serenity and comfort amidst the busyness of life.
