Zhuhai Hengqin Vacation Residence

Located in Hengqin, Zhuhai, the post-90s returnee couple who have lived overseas for many years and are in the stage of returning to China to start their own business settle down here. They're in a constant state of migratory bird migration, so they are more imaginative of a light lifestyle and a slow pace of vacation atmosphere.
Based on the needs and preferences of the owners, the urban vacation residence was a clear design goal of both parties from the beginning. With an international and a local perspective, we used the minimalist approach to spread out a multi-dimensional description of the space, capturing the modern style and seaside atmosphere, giving them a luxurious urban resort-style living experience, make “the stay-at-home vacation” a reality.
The original column structure is integrated, and flexible moving lines are sorted out, integrating the living and dining area with the balcony, swimming pool, and kitchen, all of which are completely open and interconnected. The full-size floor-to-ceiling windows that can be opened, with excellent vision and lighting, and the beautiful scenery in the distance are all in front of the eyes, creating a rich and dynamic relationship between the inside and outside.
The master bedroom suite captures the living experience of a high-end hotel as a reference. The various functional areas inside flow smoothly, and the glass is used as the medium to allow the calm charm to freely shuttle, greatly strengthening the overall correlation and spacious sense.
The unexpected surprise experiences are often more touching. We fully considered the owners’ first impression when they stepped into the master suite, and greeted them with a bright and simple bathroom and the window view in front, exuding a relaxing mood. We also used large mirrors to reflect and penetrate to expand its capacity, aiming to make every inch of space inspire a sense of well-being.
Taking into account the needs of the elders to stay occasionally, the second bedroom suite is also carefully set up for them. There is no lack of control of scale, shape and details, and to create a comfortable living atmosphere and experience.
