The commemorative edition of the "Light of the East Lake" series of products originated from the informal meeting of Chinese and Indian leaders held at East Lake in Wuhan in April 2018. Bama Tea Industry had the honor of serving as the representative of Chinese tea to provide tea services for this diplomatic event. The "Light of the East Lake Lichuan Black tea" and "Light of the East Lake Enshi Yulu Green tea" teas were lucky enough to be tasted by the heads of both countries. The product packaging design takes "Gold Inlaid with Jade" as its theme, which symbolizes the "auspicious union of gold and jade" in traditional Chinese culture. Since ancient times, the combination of gold and jade has been a symbol of good fortune, and it is perfectly applied to tea packaging as a symbol of nobility and auspiciousness. The box body uses the classic Chinese window grid form, which extracts a new window grid form composed of four-sided Ruyi patterns, conveying the auspicious meaning of "Window of China." "Beyond the window grid" presents the "jade plate" landscape and the shimmering lake. The embossment on the box surface symbolizes the petals of the "peony" flower and ripples out like water in all directions. After opening the outer box, the three-layer "staircase" bottom box implies a step-by-step rise. The surrounding frame is decorated with pattern that symbolizes authority and the seal of "Light of the East Lake." The background of the jar is set against a "screen" depicting the scene of "East Lake Tea Party." The jar's design inspiration comes from a melon-shaped jar with a restrained mouth, round belly, ring foot, and four-sided body. The handle is made of root carving elements, full of traditional charm. The jar body is crystal clear, and the porcelain is hard and delicate. The cover uses a golden gilding technique, and the smooth Ruyi pattern surrounding the product logo conveys the beautiful blessings of "wealth, nobility, longevity, and happiness." The overall packaging presents the national tea style and solemn temperament.
