Starry Stars

This is an interior design of a private residence with a four-sided lake-view flat floor. The design of the residence follows the principles of Italian aesthetics, which emphasize the interpretation of light and shadow effects and the integration of simple and elegant lines into the spatial layout. This methodology is intended to enhance the space utilization and visual experience of the property to the fullest extent possible.

To take advantage of the residence's location by the lake, the design team has crafted floor-to-ceiling windows on the south side of the balcony. This design choice allows natural light to penetrate the interior, creating a sense of transparency, blending indoor and outdoor views, and providing an open ambience. The design team has utilized the ample natural light emanating from the floor-to-ceiling windows and created a dedicated tea-tasting area on the balcony, offering the homeowner a serene environment to unwind and savour a cup of tea. Also, warm lighting has been carefully arranged to generate a sense of warmth and comfort while also guiding spatial movement, much like stars leading the way for those who have lost their way.

Owing to the spaciousness of the interior, the residence can accommodate the storage and living needs of a family of five. The team has skillfully divided each private room and planned areas for open communication. Long corridors link each area, reducing the sense of boundaries between spaces and harmonizing the entire area.

Moreover, the walls have been rendered in calm tones, creating a reassuring atmosphere. The design team has enriched the sense of spatial hierarchy by using the collision of different environmentally friendly materials such as wood veneer, stone, and fabric. Ultimately, this approach presents a simple yet extraordinary visual effect.
