The TUS-DESIGN Tower

The TUS-DESIGN Tower serves as the new headquarters building for the TUS-DESIGN Group and is located in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China.

Suzhou, a millennium-old city, boasts a history spanning 2500 years with its charming scenes of "small bridges over flowing water." In the past 30 years, the city has also witnessed the emergence of new urban landscapes with towering skyscrapers. Positioned on the city's east-west axis, the TUS-DESIGN Tower places significant emphasis on harmonizing with and inheriting the cultural context of the city.

The architectural tower features an "inner ring corridor" on every four floors, echoing the charm of Suzhou Garden's "corridor." Each "box" in the tower is equipped with a three-story high shared space at its northwest corner. When stacked vertically, it creates an interpretation reminiscent of the courtyard layout of traditional Suzhou residences, where the shared spaces appear like successive courtyards within a residential complex. Each box of the tower undergoes a self-angle deviation, forming flexible and dynamic volumes resembling "Taihu Lake stone". The design incorporates advanced green technologies extensively, not only continuously reducing energy consumption but also prioritizing the health and comfort of the occupants.
