The annual theme of 2023 Taiwan Coffee Festival is "Coffee Metamorphoses".

For the past few decades, Taiwan Coffee Festival has been reserved mostly for industry professionals, however this year we’ve decided to take the leap and reach out to larger crowds.



This transformation was a groundbreaking one since this year the coffee festival has reached over one million visit record and over 100 million sales, which is 20 times more than past records in the following three aspects:



1. Creative Outdoor camping style experience situation

We purposefully selected a venue in a relatively desolate location away from the busy city life. This venue is rich in vegetation and can be easily dressed up in rustic camping style that we wanted to create. This outdoorsy style was yearned for in Taiwan because most Taiwanese lead a busy city life. Bands and performers were also brought to perform at the festival. People can sit on the prepared picnic blankets while sipping their freshly brewed coffee and enjoying the music.



2. Create a cult following by bringing a bookstore café outdoors!

We planned an outdoor exhibition area with “coffee, reading and life” as our main theme: an artistically designed area filled with books and AI coffee machines where people can flip through books and listen to jazz music while enjoying the outdoor breeze.



3. Increase of cultural diversity and global consciousness

We welcomed internationally renowned companies to participate at this year’s event, and we were honored to have several esteemed ambassadors from coffee beans producing countries to join our event, which adds cultural diversity to the relative homogeneity of the event venue. Different from the past few years, this year we invited diverse industries other than just coffee industries to come up with products that use coffee as their product ingredients, which brings familiarity and novelty value.
