Landscape Lighting Design of Jinan CBD’s Public Space

This project carries out the overall lighting design for a block, which includes two parks and one mountain. Through the construction of night lighting, it improves the nighttime lighting environment, enriches residents’ night life, and promotes the development of night economy.

The design takes "new altitude of the city and new vitality of high-tech zone" as the theme, and “technology and culture enhance each other, nature and folk customs blend, and use light to interpret life” as the concept. The design focuses on the visual experience of tourists at night, uses the cutting-edge lighting technologies to express the traditional cultural elements of this city in a novel form, and create various nighttime lighting environment.Moreover, in view of the lack of night lighting in surrounding buildings, we use augmented reality (AR) technologies to combine virtual nightscape lighting with real surrounding buildings, so that the residents can experience the excitement and prosperity of surrounding buildings in advance and the cyber and science fiction of future cities through mobile phones.

Technically, the project strictly sets the brightness index, and carries out hidden installation of lamps and lighting equipment. In the meantime, an independent lighting control center is established to realize the unified control of all lamps in the park. By setting different lighting modes at different times, the energy consumption is also reduced while ensuring the realization of diverse effects. In addition, lamps with replaceable parts and modules are given top priority, which facilitates the operation and maintenance of lamps and focus on the environmental protection concept of sustainable development.
