Black White Bear

Black White Bear is an interactive narrative puzzle game where you play as a panda orphan who was born in a world inhabited solely by single-fur-color bears. The game traces the panda's journey through various stages of life, encompassing experiences of discrimination and bullying during childhood, a crisis of self-identity in teens, the pressures of loneliness in young adulthood, and the courageous quest to find others of its kind and build a community in mature years.

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century European scientific skepticism about the existence of pandas, the game uses this historical context to explore the social phenomena of mainstream society's outright denial of groups it has not encountered or learned enough, such as the LGBTQ community, ethnic minorities, and other niche groups. Black White Bear aims to tell an inspiring story about the search for self-identity and the power of unity and mutual support among minority groups.
