The site located at education district facing culture center and the park, “Why we don’t just bring “clouds” and let “breeze” flows into is the imagination appears when we visit the site, and then it becomes main thinking for appearance of this residential building

“State of clouds” is ever-changing with very appearance difficult to be expressed by form and budget is always essential for realization of digital stuff which influences construction way, so parametrization becomes key for design, therefor it's necessary to create it by only two-dimension object.

Opposite from general way, our approach to show “clouds” is not by solid object, but void space between grille due to it’s position with sky as background and “clouds” appears when sunlight go through, especially it keeps changing at different time and position looking it. that's say although grille is fixed, but feeling of “clouds” keeps changing. In addition, grille also work as filter defending sunlight and to reduce consumption of energy especially summer taking at least 6 months in Taiwan.

Different from “clouds", “wind” at lobby is created by A form but composited by 150 units like breeze flowing from entrance to inside. In this way, composition is point for creating rich and variety of entire state.

Due to fixed plan required by client for having floor value mostly by precise circulation that always looks strange if just stretch up from plan, we integrate the components from ground to top and extend to connect grille as A big three-dimensional frame. Moreover light color marble and small silver tiles is selected as 2 main facade material, and lighting is well dealt with for creating comfortable lighting environment but still with focus at night for having elegant and good quality in the result for market value. Put it simply, this is a residential building staying between sky, clouds, and green which looks simple and grace with contemporary style.
