2024 Jiji Lantern Festival

The famous Jiji Lantern Festival in Nantou County has entered its 26th year. To continue the tradition of celebrating the Lunar New Year in Jiji Town, we have added elements of innovation and culture to the glorious history of Jiji and transformed Jiji Town in Nantou County into a tourist and cultural activity resort during the New Year. Promote the importance of water resources through activities and promote the concept of cherishing and caring for water resources.

There are five major lantern areas at the Jiji Lantern Festival. The lantern festival combines the local characteristics and history of Jiji. It is hoped that the public can appreciate Jiji’s history, humanities, and art with more independent, open, and flexible thinking.

The lighting area was LED energy-saving and environmentally friendly lighting materials. Considering waterproofing and environmental ethics, it simultaneously realized "conservation" and "fun" and promoted the sustainable development of Jiji towns.
