HANGZHOU 8300 OUTDOOR SPORTS CENTER

8300 Outdoor Sports Center, with a total area of 12.86 hectares and an existing historical building of approximately 21,000 square meters, is located in Changhua Town, Lin'an District, Hangzhou. The team investigated the traditional architectural forms and landscape layouts of surrounding villages. On the basis of retaining the historical industrial context and landscape resources, the team used local traditional material language, combined with outdoor sports and infrastructure that meets modern needs to transform and design the existing spaces and structures. The purpose is to create a subjective, customized and experiential space layout system.

Integrated by the landscape major, the construction content involves architecture, landscape, interior, engineering, signage systems, lighting and intelligent majors, aiming to create the country's first "outdoor cultural community", a family weekend leisure sports destination and bicycle-friendly outdoor holiday destination. The 8300 Outdoor Sports Center integrates outdoor sports, children's education, women's caring and infrastructure supporting services.
