The Cities & Gardens Boutique Suites is located at a beautiful spot in the heart of Saigon. The complex consists of a coffee shop and co-working space; eight unique boutique rental suites; and a communal rooftop garden.
Saigon is a city of multi-culture and opportunities. Visitors from around the World come to the city to experience the culture, enjoy the city life and look for opportunities. In another aspect, the green spaces of the city have been sacrificed dramatically as a consequence of poorly controlled development. We proposed the concept of “Cities & Gardens” that reflects the vibrancy and diversity of the city life, and also engages and connects with the nature. The interior design has inspirations drawn from some notable cities and natural elements together with the creative use of forms, materials, colors and details.
The Tokyo Home is a tranquil space inspired from Japanese architecture with unique elements such as the multi-purpose Tatami room, Shoji screens, and a stone garden. The Parisian Suite re-imagines an elegant space with high ceiling and vaulted doorways in combination with stone cladding, wooden floor, and a rose garden. The Earth Garden was designed in Vietnam vernacular style and sourced from traditional materials such as cement tiles in earthy colors, wooden cabinetry, bamboo screens and ceramic furniture with decent craftsmanship. The Copenhagen Attic implies the warmth and coziness by the use of oak wood floor and furniture as well as high-quality soft furnishing.
Besides, the Waterspace was built in dynamic form and finished with contemporary materials such as resin floor, curving plywood cabinets, crystal tile and transparent furniture. The Loft is a double space with the sensible use of industrial materials such as exposed concrete, brick walls and black-painted iron re-imagining a 1950’s loft in New York. The Forest Lodge has wooden interior and a large forest-like garden with various trees, plantings, and a pergola above. Finally, the Saigonese Terrace is finished with local materials such as cement tiles, bamboo screens, terrazzo, and has a large “Saigon-style” terrace with a stepping planter with local herbs, vegetable and a star-fruit tree.
