Star-brown

The project amalgamates MODULNOVA's innovative concept of integrated door and wall design with the wave of Eastern Neo-Minimalism to create a home aesthetic space that embodies both classical and avant-garde styles.

The interior space's visual cue is the lighting of the Star-brown series, which emphasizes the sense of technology and fashion through the use of vertical decorative light columns, grilles, linear light, and mirrored acrylic panels to reflect the aesthetics of regularity and cascade, resulting in a more dynamic visual perception. The space's overall colour scheme is based on the black, white, and grey of the Maillard home colour system, which imparts a warm and advanced feeling, making it suitable for various home styles.

The designer's in-depth pursuit of functionality and aesthetics of modern home space is reflected in the design of each functional area. The TV background wall's design is inspired by MODULUCA, a top Spanish minimalist brand, which combines wall protection, storage wall systems, and lighting. The open area adopts a 45-degree diagonal cutting process, showcasing the beauty of slimness and lightness. The kitchen space utilizes a linear layout cabinet combined with an independent island table design, integrating cooking and washing functions to cater to different house types. The door panel surface combines multiple techniques, displaying a variety of textures and colours in the light. Additionally, the innovative design of the hardware handles highlights the importance of details, inspired by Issey Miyake's in-depth interpretation of the folded texture of clothing. Through extrusion and folding technology, the designer created a three-dimensional sense of the handles, which are aesthetically pleasing and ergonomic, transforming the furniture into artwork that adds a delicate and soft flavour to the interior space.
