The landscape design is highlighted by its remarkable location: the Moonlong Yunlan project is situated in the West Lake Longwu Scenic Area, known for its rich tea culture and landscape resources. Hence, this design is intended to optimize the location advantage, which presents not only the main challenge but also the main appeal of the project. The design aims to blur the boundaries between conventional tea gardens and living spaces, which in turn creates a harmonious living environment that seamlessly merges indoor and outdoor areas and accents the intrinsic value of nature. The most thrilling part is the terrace. The terraced structure consisting of ten levels integrates with the surrounding landscape, leaving the impression that the building organically emerges from the tea plantation terrace. Upon opening the door, you will be greeted with a view of lush greenery and the faint scent of rain, typical of the southern Yangtze River region. The Lanshen Yunchi is a sunken courtyard that interacts with the building through the water surface in line with the traditional oriental architectural concept of "four waters flowing back to the hall." Furthermore, the design blends the tea room into the natural surroundings, imitating a serene tea pavilion tucked in the mountains and the water. The tea pavilion "Tingzhanmian" seems to be floating on the water surface of the water garden when viewed from a distance, as if you were walking and singing in front of the water, reminiscent of the picture described in the Tang Dynasty poet Zhu Jingxuan's poem, "amidst the tranquil dust, the aroma of tea lingers in the hills of China ". The corridor serves as a link between the elevated slopes and incorporates the beauty of oriental architectural cornices, which gives a contemporary interpretation of oriental culture.Ultimately, the design strives to create a serene ambiance in a tea garden, seamlessly integrating the vibrant hues of the mountains into everyday life.
