The landscape design concept of Chengdu ITC Zhenyuan aims at creating a modern and sophisticated garden space with an urban character, while considering functionality, environmental protection innovation, and attention to detail. The design process begins with the use of geometric art and turns geometric lines and decorations into a well-thought layout that enhances the space experience through rational thinking and innovative practices. The space design of the landscape features a three-tiered courtyard structure, which combines modern architectural elements and natural landscape features to create a ritualized pathway leading to the home. Each courtyard block is both independent and interconnected, forming a sense of spatial hierarchy and flow aesthetics. The water-themed courtyard is designed in a modern and minimalist way that shows a rational pursuit of aesthetics. A stacked waterfall design emphasizes clean lines and modernity, allowing the water element to flow naturally from the top of the gallery, fostering a serene and vibrant atmosphere. In terms of materials and construction details, the project boldly blends two types of natural stone, black golden flower and black golden sand, to attain a simple and natural aesthetic through color and stacking techniques. The stone walls are designed with irregular setbacks, which may make it more difficulty for the construction process but create a unique visual effect. Combined with translucent glass tiles, it creates a soft landscape resembling a "glowing hill" at night, instilling interest and intimacy to the space. The attention of residents walking along the veranda is shifted to the well-designed light and shadow effects and running water features. These design details bring a cozy ambiance to the surroundings of the trees, forming a recreational area that exudes an intimate and artistic atmosphere. Moreover, the fusion of various water features into the lawn adds visual interest, with a central landscape tree serving as a focal point and contributing to the creation of a harmonious open space.
