"I’m always trying to express movement. I was fascinated with the fold so basic to our first feelings of love and warmth." - Frank Gehry

Marking the second commissioned work by returning client, namely the homeowner, the team was tasked with this brand new space for his young family of 4. This 150-square-meter residence features 3 bedrooms, 1 multi-purpose room, and 2 living areas. By parting from the traditional notion of defining spaces with walls or cabinets, the open-plan approach softens interior boundaries, ensuring a smooth flow and unobstructed sightlines throughout. Anchored in a palette of high-grade gray, the design deftly merges form with everyday functionality, presenting a pleasant harmony of design and lifestyle.

The designer carefully considers how even small curves or details can influence the emotional and dynamic aspects of home environment, as well as their connection to creating a satisfying living experience. Here, the perception of framed vistas through different viewpoints and windows creates a vivid scene, connecting the built form with its urban surroundings. Soft, neutral color tones are used to balance natural light and shadows, ensuring visual continuity throughout. By minimizing area boundaries, the design fosters an airy ambiance that enhances the beauty of both nearby and distant views.

The foyer elegantly greets with curved features, focal pieces, and stylish lighting, attracting attention while subtly guiding the gaze. This setup not only enhances the beauty of space but also improves the residents' overall experiences, revealing a comfortable and approachable environment—a living art that feels natural and organic.

In a language of warm minimalism, the design narrates the pristine state of sensory, unveiling the essence of life itself. By prioritizing the creation of a healthy, non-toxic home and mindfully minimizing the depletion of natural resources, the approach aspires for a sustainable lifestyle put into practice. Extensive use of paints and media that comply with green building standards meanwhile pays respect to human-nature interaction, emphasizing artistic, contextual, and cultural values that extend from the exterior to the interior.
