Along a 71.9-kilometer shoreline, adhering to the original intention of low-carbon design, the designers spared no effort to preserve more than 200 native tall trees, effectively sequestering carbon and enhancing ecological value. Additionally, over 260 new plants have been added to enrich the landscape with seasonal colors, creating a continuous expanse of low-density, ecological, and tranquil forest land.
The design preserves the upper canopy of tall trees while organizing the lower layers of vegetation, creating a multi-layered plant environment to provide a richer spatial experience. This makes the poetic lakeside forest more vibrant and romantic. Furthermore, various natural flower arrangements have been carefully selected to fill the park, enriching the seasonal changes around the lake and stimulating endless imagination within the space.
Restoring approximately 53,000 square meters of the Twin Lakes, a complete freshwater ecological system is constructed to achieve ecological self-circulation in the lake area, providing sustainable self-purification functions and meeting third-level drinking water standards with approximately 1.5 meters of visibility. Native submerged plants are planted, and native trees such as the dawn redwood are preserved, forming a well-structured and layered aquatic plant community, softening the hard edges of the shoreline and creating open scenic views. Then, the serene blue clarity of the lake is vividly restored, an irreproducible luxury.
The sunken courtyard at the rear continues the elements of the lakeshore with simple materials, allowing waterfalls and streams to flow peacefully, creating a microclimate with spreading flower gardens and small forests, embodying the natural lifestyle of lakeside living.
This project maximizes the preservation of the site's true state and cultural imprint, with minimal intervention to restore the site's texture, respecting and preserving native plants, maintaining and upgrading the central lake bridge, and implementing ecological circulation and purification in the lake area, perpetually nourishing the vitality of the residence. At the same time, it adapts to the original terrain with terraced slopes and incorporates well-defined plant communities such as elegant flower gardens, integrating rustic materials and textures into the environment, creating a lakeside park community focused on residential health and holistic healing.
