Civil Aviation Demonstration Zone SectionⅠ

Located in the Future Science and Technology City in the eastern part of Chengdu, this project faces the new campus of the Civil Aviation Flight University of China across the river and is only 1.2 kilometers away from the Tianfu International Airport. It is another strategic development project in the eastern new area, intended for research purposes, comprising 26 above-ground buildings and 2 underground levels, with a total area of approximately 67,000 square meters. The project closely integrates the corporate culture and industry characteristics of the Civil Aviation Second Research Institute, incorporating its spirit of hard work and innovation into the design scheme, embodying the relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation in civil aviation. The team drew inspiration from the process of folding paper airplanes, using techniques such as form cutting and array design to refine and reorganize the folded paper forms, rearranging the lines of the paper airplane's shape to create new planar compositions and volume relationships, ultimately defining the design elements and theme.
