The unfolded corridor, stretching like a river flowing by time, gleams upon those splendid memories. It has cost most of a lifetime to look around the world and accumulate abundant experience and accomplishments, but now it is quick to flashback all the scenes and progress. A fallen golden maple leaf with distinctive veins settles in the long-finding residence, returning to the hometown after long years of wandering.
The project is a second home for a couple of retirees. The designer customized their requirements and reconfigured the layout plans based on two members of the residents. The master bedroom was combined with a public bathroom and a vanity room to present a comprehensive, restful space. Secondly, dual doors with electromagnetic locks in the recreation room ensure the users’ privacy and safety. The renovated curation allows an improved moving flow rather than going to the end of the corridor. Furthermore, an open public area with a round ten people seating dining table facilitates an airy living and communal space for groups of golfing friends.
The homeowner’s favorite decorative titanium-plated trimming and slats, set off by the entirely neutral base color, present understated exquisiteness, inspired by his abundant experience and excellent accomplishments. Monochromatic palettes harmonize distinctive Prussian blue in an imposing flair. In addition, curved lines and oblique ceiling, façade, and cabinetry design implement way-finding and space-expanding effects. Round shapes complement a tender feel to the pleasant resident.
The recreation room, converted from the original secondary bedroom, includes active and rest areas. In the active region, many acoustic panels in a diamond pattern create a solution of sound diffraction by the mirrored wall that facilitates KTV and dance audio requirements. On the other hand, the tatami platform with a lifting table renders a cozy vibe beneath the wood-slatted ceiling. A minibar aside from the window lets the couples enjoy a pleasant leisure time, viewing mountain scenes, drinking, or chatting.
The power-saving ceiling-mounted dehumidifier and energy recovery ventilation enhance moisture control and air conditioning due to the cold and wet weather.
