As dawn breaks and dusk settles, beams of sunlight gracefully stream through the windows, creating a gentle and enchanting kaleidoscope of light and shadows within. With each step into the space, where the day’s hustle and bustle slowly fade away, the homeowner fully immerses in the tranquil sanctuary of personal time. Here, laughter and joy abound as the family gathers, creating memories that never fade.

Considering the proprietor’s appetite for relaxation, this design seamlessly connects the living room, dining room, and study, revealing an inviting and spacious communal space. Cleverly exploiting blinds to filter natural light and strategically placing a sphere lamp on the floor, the arrangement gently cultivates a soothing ambiance via its illumination. Combined with the sleek and clear-off furnishing, it embodies the essence of a cozy home, dissipating the weariness of everyday life.

Taking coziness, austereness, and cleanliness as the core of a home, it embraces the homeowner’s preference for a serene gray palette. We exploit neutral colors as the foundation invokes inner peace and a sense of security, while accents of white on the ceiling and walls add breathing space. The integration of natural materials such as stone and wood, with their rich textures and organic qualities represents the dynamics of life, counterbalancing the static coolness of the predominant gray tones and bringing a homey, welcoming atmosphere.

Considering the homeowner’s long working hours and the cherished time spent with family, the designer reimagined the space by removing the partition wall behind the TV area, transforming it into a semi-open study room seamlessly integrated into the shared area where family members frequent the most. Whether it’s the male owner attending to tasks, the female owner practicing yoga in the living room, or the children playing in the communal spaces, the close-knit family can all enjoy private moments while sharing the bonding moments.
