Gilt Light

Inspired by the owner's love of outdoor sports, the design aims to create a comfortable, natural, and fluid home. Light-colored artistic paint is the base, while wood and clear materials enhance the sense of permeability and extensibility. The blurring of visual boundaries between the interior and exterior also allows natural light and views from the windows to be brought into the room. The aesthetics and functionality of the home allow people and pets to live in harmony.
The first highlight is the rounded shape. The designer used rounded shapes to soften sharp corners, such as between walls or between walls and ceilings, to promote the extension of light. The whole space has a softer flow of light and shadow. Linear light strips precisely delineate the entrance, dining room, and living room. In particular, the long light strip from the entrance to the ceiling brings a bright path of light from the entrance to the living room, welcoming the occupants every time they come home.
The second highlight is the customized design. The designer transformed one of the rooms into a multi-functional storage area with a spacious desktop for working and dressing and a small kitchen island to enhance comfort and practicality.
