Shining Starlight

This design project is a fully functional display center, demonstrating the brand’s succinct, fashionable, premium, and dignified image based on the global regulations for Mercedes-Benz. We have designed a simplified, comfortable, and spacious area to exclusively provide customers with a comprehensive service experience.



The space is enriched in the design concept of green building, extending from the indoors to outdoors; the center of the two buildings including the garage and the display hall surround the pool garden, while the background of the automobile-admiring space on the ground floor is embellished with the courtyard green passageway extending from the green parkway in front of the base. The French doors close to the courtyard may be opened automatically, providing a semi-alfresco banquet venue to host events, allowing customers to soak in the prosperous green spatial atmosphere. Moreover, the design concept of soft illumination is combined with the ceiling style variations and the brightness of the lights, reflecting the product quality under the rays of light while catering for the concept of energy-saving with the three scenes of the day, the night, and midnight respectfully. The ceiling of the upper floor for the entire building is displayed with lights and shadows, where the blue and white stars blink rhythmically, revealing the aesthetic ambience of modern technology, creating technological quality during the day, and forming a display window for lights and shadows at night, resembling a bright shining star landmark within the city.



For the space, the ceiling light style features both aesthetics and performance; the ceiling materials used for the display hall on the ground floor have a simple look with continuous belt-like indirect lights, thereby organizing the spatial order and presenting the technological simplicity, while further using stylish veneer as the background wall to demonstrate the cultural quality valued by the brand; the ceiling for the display hall on the second floor emphasizes conveying concepts of technology and outstanding performance, the customized metal ceiling material with holes hides computer-programmed LEDs, producing starlight rays through the metal panels, further accentuating the light rays with extraordinary quality.
