Mazu Pingle is a service design that includes both online and offline services to provide physical and mental support to people affected by typhoons. Mazu is a maritime goddess in Chinese folk belief who can redirect typhoons, ensuring the safe navigation of ships. In the face of typhoon disasters, unstable and helpless psychological conditions among the people are significant issues. In an effort to address these challenges, we aim to integrate Mazu culture into our services by offering "Pop-up + Pingan Package" and "Moyi Radio" Virtual Live-streaming content. Pingan Package provides the disaster supply. Moyi Radio includes weather reports, cultural interviews, and regular live-streaming activities. Pop-up events raise more offline engagements and social popularity.
