The City Valley project, located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, focuses on a hidden gem in the heart of the city - the City Valley Garden. The project aims to transform an old townhouse into a living space that integrates nature, humanism and modern living concepts.The designer adheres to the core concept of "harmony between nature and human culture" and in the design process, through fine spatial layout and ingenious design methods, not only preserve the interaction between architecture and nature, but also subtly incorporate the diverse needs of modern life. Designers believe that the true high quality of life lies not in the accumulation of material things, but in the perfection of the soul. It is hoped that the modified features will match the current and future needs of children. Therefore, the emphasis in the renovation process is on meeting new functional requirements without unduly changing the original building exterior to preserve the natural harmony between the building and the surrounding landscape. In the floor function planning, the first floor is used as a family shared space, while the basement floor is the main function of receiving guests and reception, the roof attic is linked to the family's parent-child space, and the second and third floors are exclusive to the rest and living space of family members. This design strikes a perfect balance between guest reception and family life, guaranteeing privacy and interaction between the different floors of the home.
