INTEGRATION

The public artwork "INTEGRATION" is located in Dabaihui Plaza, an exceptional super Grade A commercial and business building in the heart of the CBD in Futian District, which represents the combined wisdom and strength of three major real estate giants: Gemdale, Dabaihui Group, Excellence Group.
The artwork is located in a water feature pool adjacent to the pedestrian and vehicle access of Dabaihui Plaza. Taking this unique field property into consideration, the Artist Chen Simin designed the artwork with a horizontally stretching and streamlined shape that create a flow visual experience, making it resemble a bridge arching over the water. This design not only serves as a guide for the flow of people, but also eliminates the sense of distance between the various spaces in Dabaihui Plaza in terms of functional division, so that the work, the people and the space merge and coexist harmoniously.
In "INTEGRATION", artist Chen Simin draws inspiration from the natural curves of the Dabaihui Plaza to create a high-end and sleek modern business building style with a minimalist and flat aesthetic approach. The texture and smoothness of the work reveal the gentle and strength of Chinese landscape art. "Collaboration" not only embodies the accessibility and prosperity, tolerance and diversity in Chinese culture, but also conveys Dabaihui Plaza’s project vision of focusing on the East and the international community, and the good wish to gather talents and wealth, Shenzhen and the world.
The dynamic handshake motif of the work also symbolizes the three groups' connection and collaborative spirit of shared business prosperity.
