Inked Elegant

The owner's family has lived in the house for more than 10 years and decided to renovate the space as the family members entered a new stage. The old layout allowed the dining room to be hidden in the walkway, the public blocks could not be easily connected by moving lines, and the air conditioning and ventilation were hindered, as well as the uneven distribution of space in each room. By rearranging the pattern, leveling the wall, breaking through the restrictions of beams and columns, enlarging the sense of space, and boldly integrating the dark color of the owner's preference, to create a stable and personal style of home space.

The color in the space is taken from the dark wood texture favored by the owner. Through the design, it is transformed into the basic color of the space composed of black, gray and white. Combined with the thread board and stretched leather fabric, it continues the American thread board style of the old space, and with less local wood texture, it sets off the overall modern and elegant atmosphere, giving a refreshing family space. The moving line divides the internal and external moving lines with a door, so that the external public domain can focus on communication, and the internal has a sense of privacy and security.

The design scheme focuses on the optimization of pattern and the balance of adjusting the proportion of each space, so that the dynamic line and function are then restructured to create a more in line with the use of habits, which is more spacious and perspective of the home environment. For example, the dining area is changed to a smaller dining table according to the house, thus giving more space to the living room vision, and removing the porch compartment to increase the transparency of public area. While the original oversized master bedroom allows space to be planned as a storage room, and the children's room also has the appropriate proportion of desk and cabinet functions.
