HONGQIAO PHOENIX

HONGQIAO PHOENIX, as the pilot area of Fengxi "Urban Village" renovation project, is also the first work of Zhongjiao Urban Investment into Shanghai, its importance is self-evident. Therefore, the designer traces the context of urban development, picks the unique memory of Fengxi town, and creates a marketing center with deep cultural experience with the concept of"sail a boat", leading visitors to regain the glory days and look forward to the infinite possibilities of a better life. The welcome area uses ancient merchant ship art installations, natural rocks and metal materials to show the welcome etiquette of "gold and stone" in Chinese culture. At the front desk, the ceramic wall painting "Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" is used as the background to simulate the lake and mountain scenery of Jiangnan water towns. In the sandpan area, more than 20 century-old Bridges in Fengxi Village are used as prototypes to create curved staggered suspended ceilings, which are combined with the sky curtain light belt to bring a grand visual experience. The unique suspended sand table makes the large space look more impactful. This project upholds the design principle of "low energy consumption" throughout the design process to extend the service life of the interior space. A large number of glass surfaces are used in the design to allow sunlight and natural wind to enter the room to a greater extent, effectively reducing the need for artificial lighting and air conditioning. At the same time, LED lighting reduces energy consumption and consumption of natural resources. In the space design to strengthen the connection and permeability of each functional area, the floor furniture in the negotiation area and the children's area are all movable modules, which can be cleared as needed in the later stage to make space to ensure the development of marketing activities, so that the space utilization rate is greatly improved, and the purpose of energy saving and environmental protection is fully achieved.
