Star Harbor · Yulan Pavilion is situated by Wenying Lake in Datong, China. It creates a sense of order in the space through the use of materials, textures, and light and shadow. The space integrates family interaction, private relaxation, study and reading, social gatherings, and leisure entertainment, establishing a city landmark-level residential model that embodies the profound essence of grand living. It shines as a beacon within the city, with the designer, inspired by nature, crafting a culturally rich residence that leverages the geographical advantages and redefines modern home living. The designer selected natural inkstone materials, accented with sophisticated and textured bronze metal, using contemporary materials and techniques to convey the subtle and misty ambiance of the lakeside, blending a spirit of closeness to nature with an elegant and harmonious overall atmosphere.
