The project is located on the ground floor of the Beijing Contemporary MOMA Business Center. Originally constructed as a factory in the 1950s, the building was converted for office use in 2000, with a flexible 6.7-meter ceiling height preserved on the ground floor.

In 2022, Tengyun Zhuke moved into this business center and decided to build a corporate showroom on the ground floor. The primary challenge was how to reshape this 1,800-cubic-meter space and integrate exhibition content.

Ancient Chinese philosophers symbolically expressed their understanding of the universe with the Taiji diagram, which closely resembles the golden spiral in modern mathematics. Taking the double golden spiral as our design starting point, we used two curves converging at a central point in the layout to guide the visitor's path. This approach not only enhances interest and directionality but also acts as a metaphorical link between Tengyun Zhuke and the parent company, showcasing their symbiotic relationship.

In terms of materials and colors, the entire space primarily features glossy white Malaysian lacquer as the main surface material, reflecting the technological attributes of the showroom. The dark paint on the second-floor ceiling contrasts with the white of the first floor, adding depth, while mirror-finish stainless steel elements represent the concept of infinite exploration.

Lighting is a key feature of the tech showroom. We used concealed lighting troughs for ambient illumination, combined with soft membrane ceilings for accent lighting, and arranged various lighting configurations flexibly. Different modes were set for meetings and tours, with the tour mode featuring lighting that moves in sync with visitors' steps through interaction with multimedia screens.
