Cozy Afternoon

The owners are a retired couple who like a leisurely life.

In the initial planning, the owners wanted to maintain indoor height and reduce sense of oppression on beams and pillars. So I made an arc shape for the beams and columns to combine family cohesion

Arc-shaped flow makes the vision more open when entering the house, also makes the space soft but not too stiff.

As age increases, the sensitivity to color will decrease. So Choice mainly white with white oak, which creates a bright and warm visual experience, which can make people relax and feel comfortable.

However, a large amount of white seems too drab, so the wall behind the sofa was painted lime green and walnut colors to increase the diverse of visual and ultimately plan a space that satisfies the owner.
