Villa Sansheng Town

This project is located in Sansheng Huaxiang Tourist Zone, and the building restoration and styling design will be carried out on the basis of the original buiding. We name it “Yi Er” Yard, this is a 560 ㎡ American style self built villa owned by an idealist 70s generation who respects nature. When we first met, our design concept immediately aligned with the owner's advocacy for a simple life, aiming to create a relaxing and free space in the bustling city.
To meet the needs of the owner, the design should be as open as possible, remove unnecessary lines, and preserve the original aesthetics. The first floor serves as a social space, centered around outdoor landscape resources. Each independent space is reserved with doors and windows for easy access. The second floor is a private space exclusive to the owner, and the designer uses rich sensory experiences to establish a spiritual space in secular life. Both traditional and modern style can be equally applied. The pointed roof stretches the height scale, releasing a spatial temperament with a sense of breathing and rhythm.
Based on the living habits of residents, this project focuses on refining the quality of life. The entire public area is made of white walls and wooden beams, with an open layout that establishes free visual interaction. In the living room, geometric steel windows frame the outdoor scenery, with white curtains decorating it into a painting. The freely combined "mahjong" sofa, with smooth lines and bold color, outlines the fun of life. The overall building is connected by spiral staircases, shedding the complex shapes and spiraling upwards. Elegant curves stand in this space, and retro floral tiles add a romantic French touch, making people fall in love with this geometric beauty.
