Project Overview:



Jubaoyuan, an esteemed halal brand with a legacy steeped in history, masterfully blends time-honored traditions with contemporary design. This iconic restaurant, a beacon of old Beijing's culinary heritage, presents a space where rich cultural narratives and modern aesthetics converge.



Design Significance:



Our design elegantly bridges Jubaoyuan's storied past with the dynamic preferences of today's younger clientele. By artfully intertwining classical and modern elements, we preserve the brand's venerable legacy while engaging a new generation. This synthesis creates a dining environment that radiates sophistication and comfort, ideal for both high-profile business banquets and relaxed dining experiences.



Design Concept:



The design seamlessly integrates traditional Beijing motifs with cutting-edge design techniques. We employed premium materials and exquisite craftsmanship to evoke a sense of refinement while incorporating vibrant colors and contemporary design elements that resonate with a youthful audience. The result is a space that harmoniously marries historical richness with modern flair.



Design Description:



The Jubaoyuan project spans two distinct levels. The first floor is dedicated to casual dining and fast food, featuring traditional copper door studs and 3D-printed elements that recreate the transparency of 1937. A decorative copper pot partition and antique solid wood frames enhance the nostalgic ambiance.



The staircase, adorned with grey bricks, evokes the architectural style of the early Republic of China, leading to the second floor. Here, a monumental copper pot, emblematic of Jubaoyuan's traditional cooking methods, takes center stage. The booths, clad in Halal green tiles, and the open meat shop offer transparency and assurance of quality.



In the VIP private rooms, the design exudes high-end sophistication with grey tiles, glass bricks, and bamboo accents. This blend of materials achieves a perfect balance between historical elegance and contemporary chic. The entrance, embodying pure ancient architecture, celebrates Beijing's cultural essence, while versatile seating arrangements accommodate various dining occasions, from afternoon teas to bustling night markets.

Jubaoyuan's design is a masterful fusion of historical reverence and modern innovation, creating an environment that is both culturally rich and refreshingly contemporary.
