2022 is the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Xiangxi Bandit Suppression. In order to commemorate this event, activate cultural memory, and promote the development of local cultural tourism, the Xiangxi Bandit Suppression Victory Museum came into being.

The south side of the project is close to the city road, the original Victory Gate and the Bandit Suppression Victory Hall are retained on the west side, and the Monument stands on the high ground on the north side. The Victory Museum and the three together constitute the Bandit Suppression Victory Cultural Park. The main functions include cultural and art exhibition halls, cultural relics warehouses, management offices, lecture halls and coffee bar. While meeting the basic needs of daily exhibitions, relics protection and tourist reception, it also provides the owner with a sustainable operation model anchored by cultural tourism. The Xiangxi Bandit Suppression Victory Museum has revitalized the entire asrea, making it a city living room, establishing an interesting and meaningful connection between the building and the citizens, and providing an experiential strolling space for the citizens' daily life and cultural exchanges.

The building uses concrete blocks as formal units, standing on the site in a powerful and sculptural form. Through the interlacing, interweaving, and stacking of the forms, the space and the site are reshaped to create a memorial monument to the history event.

The interior space implies simple graphic language combined with rich visiting paths. By setting up a central linear traffic space, plus components such as trestles and ladders, the exhibition space is constructed into a vibrant scene space, allowing visitors to experience an immersive spatial experience of changing scenery between squares and circles.

The entire building uses recycled concrete as the main material, and a large number of old building bricks are used to build the tile curtain wall, which reduces carbon emissions, promotes the sustainable use of resources, embodies the concept of green building, and contributes to the sustainable development of the city.
