River Reflections

The artwork “River Reflections” was exhibited at the 2024 Tainan Lantern Festival in the "River of Luminescent Reminiscence " hi-tech art light zone, located on the south side of the Tainan Canal, facing Anping Harbor. As one of the technology art teams involved in the exhibition, we encapsulate and present our memories and imagination of the century-old canal along the riverside, often referred to as Taiwan’s Seine River.



Through the intertwining and layering of light, “River Reflections” stirs up memories of the past within the hearts of the audience, evoking a feeling reminiscent of time reversing, employing a stream of consciousness. Simultaneously, it offers an understanding of the transformations and fleeting nature brought by time. By layering, alternating, and iterating visual elements, it portrays the former thriving scene, rekindling the scenes of the historic splendor of Tainan.
