This project is situated adjacent to Chengdu's inaugural modern art museum, Tianfu Art Park, a continuation of the artistic style and interconnected by water features.
Within the Xichen Royal Lake Community, there is a 245-meter "Floating Art Museum" landscape that infuses an array of elements, redefining the luxury associated with the lake view. The subway protection line traverses the garden, while elevated floors cling to the subway's edge, forming a natural landscape axis and corridor that fosters a seamless luxurious lake scene, both internally and externally.
The landscape design centers around a diagonal main axis which distributes the garden spaces among the residences. The value associated with the landscape is highlighted by the following points:
1. An extra-long central axis of ritual order exceeding 200 meters features water elements that connect the entrance to the traffic line of the home, enveloped by scenic water views. This central axis is segmented into three distinct sections, each offering unique characteristics that foster varying atmospheres from shocking to relaxing effect, thereby challenging conventional residential landscape designs.
2. A seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, facilitated by elevated floors that achieve a harmonious mix of architecture, finishing, and landscape, addresses height variations to form a vibrant social gathering venue.
3. The super scene concept aspires to create an unparalleled spatial ambiance, guiding visitors from the entrance to the sunset garden, where diverse scenes offer a unique walking experience and enhance the identity of the landscape.
4. The private courtyard starts with the living area and dissolves the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces. It accommodates various functions, such as tea ceremonies and swimming pools, catering to the needs across all age groups. Children can either access the courtyard directly from their bedrooms, or stay in playing or gardening areas, making it easier for parental attention.
