The project is located in Fulin Town, Changsha County, Hunan Province, China, facing the Yingzhushan Scenic Area, surrounded by abundant natural landscape resources.

The center organize different geometric spaces into narrative contextual space with the tour streamlines, realizing the organic continuity of different types of spaces. According to the characteristics of the site environment, the main entrance passes through the rice fields and water from the square, and then turns in the traditional chinese garden style. At the same time, elements such as stairs, bridges, platforms and courtyards are added to the streamlines, and the space is unfolded layer by layer during the journey.

The shape of the second floor symbolically constructs the ‘Cultural Backbone’ of Fulin Town, echoing the inheritance and innovation of local historical culture with the form of steel and wood structure. The second-floor overhead platform intersects with the center’s central axis, forming an open space sequence with the geometric shape of the first floor.

The center uses the texture of the site as the language of geometric composition. Through the transformation and combination of geometric shapes, it cooperates with landscapes, fields, squares, and platforms to complete the construction of spatial points, lines, and surfaces. The design uses constructivist techniques to abstractly illustrate, associate, and reconstruct geometric space situations. It integrates with the site environment in a regular and free space form, blurs the boundaries with the use of wall pieces, and extends the landscape form, creating an architectural image with regional cultural and artistic characteristics, achieving an organic combination of man and nature, and becoming a place for the town to tell stories, thereby awakening people's sense of identity with the spatial culture of the town.
