The commercial building area of HUAQIAO FUN WORLD is 170,000 square meters. It is an urban TOD super complex seamlessly connected to the double 11 subway lines of Suzhou and Shanghai through a double-deck subway corridor. It is also the second "urban outlet MALL" implemented by China SCE Group. DCI is honored to be the overall commercial space planning and interior design consultant for this project. In order to adapt to the new trends and demands of market consumption, it creates a higher-standard upgraded work for SCE Group. As the first commercial complex in the Huaqiao area in western Shanghai, after a trial operation with both popular and outstanding performance, HUAQIAO FUN WORLD officially starts a life experience journey of "outlet commerce + urban cultural micro-vacation" for the people of Huaqiao.
In the overall commercial planning and space design, DCI not only continues the innovative model of "selected shopping centers + selected outlet retail" as the positioning of urban outlets, but also fully integrates the local culture and micro-vacation attributes of the project. Combined with the insight into the new generation of consumer psychology such as "relaxation and pleasure", HUAQIAO FUN WORLD integrates immersion and scene into the consumption space, creates urban public leisure space with local characteristics to attract and retain customers, thus truly realizing the transformation from "passenger flow" to "retaining customers".
