TongueFlex Pro

TongueFlex Pro is a training tool designed to alleviate swallowing difficulties by strengthening the tongue muscles. It integrates with an adventure-filled AR mobile game to encourage seniors to train regularly and enhance their tongue muscle strength.

The device offers two training modes. The first mode focuses on intrinsic muscle training through tongue movements, which helps to strengthen tongue muscles involved in the swallowing process. This mode targets the superior longitudinal, inferior longitudinal, transverse, and vertical muscles, as well as hyoid movement and range. The second mode employs breathing exercises to build swallowing strength, enhancing the initiation of the oral preparation phase, the first stage of swallowing. This mode focuses on strengthening the extrinsic muscles and improving the action of hyoid elevation.
