The project is a showroom near Taipei Main Station, set to become a symbol of the city’s gateway with its wide, open views in line with urban planning goals. The designers skillfully incorporate the geographic features into an artful style accessible to a broad audience. The concept draws from the vibrancy and energy of New York’s Manhattan. The modern, boutique aesthetic maintains the space’s distinct character, while elements inspired by Mondrian’s paintings infuse the setting with life. Within this space, one can feel the city's rhythm, with every corner radiating the charm and vitality of the modern metropolis.

-Rebalancing the Living Room Proportion: The living room’s width is significantly narrower than the dining area, giving it a visually smaller look. Instead of the traditional approach of concealing large beams, the designers boldly emphasized the beam spanning between the living and dining areas with a silver titanium-plated panel. This solution not only cleverly mitigates the visual limitations of the narrower living room but also aligns the titanium panel’s lines with the flooring transitions, clearly defining the different areas and enhancing the space’s uniqueness while adding depth of field.

-Enhancing Visual Transparency: Behind the TV wall, the designers created a multifunctional room with a daybed, which serves multiple purposes such as sleeping, working, and relaxing. The ceiling above this area is left open and complemented with glass to create an extended visual effect, solving the initial imbalance in the social area’s proportions. Additionally, the bookshelf in the multifunctional room is crafted from iron, which, when viewed through the living room, complements the glass and iron’s lightness, adding a sense of openness and cohesion to the space.
