Gansu Maternal and Child Health Hospital

Gansu Maternal and Child Health Hospital is located on Mogao Avenue in Anning District, Lanzhou City. It is an international, modern, research-oriented, multi-functional, airport style medical and health complex that integrates "medical treatment, health care, prevention, rehabilitation, scientific research, and teaching". With a construction area of nearly 390000 square meters, it is built in accordance with the development concept of international medical institutions and the standards of national regional medical centers. The overall layout of the hospital follows the design concept of "river flow", with the academic lecture hall corresponding to the sculpture of "Yellow River Bloodline" inside and outside, reflecting the concept of yin and yang balance. The architectural layout is enclosed in a circular shape, with smooth curves, and the curtain wall of the podium is full of rhythm and melody, integrating the spirit of the nine curved Yellow River and the hundred fold irreversible Yellow River, fully expressing the beautiful vision of healing environment and humanistic feelings.
The night lighting design integrates architectural design concepts, and overall lighting planning is carried out based on spatial layout and pedestrian flow lines. The lighting design concept of "minimalist aesthetic light, embracing warm light, and humanistic soothing light" is used to express the project planning concept, architectural form aesthetics, and healing atmosphere of the place. The shaping of the architectural surface shape is strengthened, and the dynamic shape of the building shape is expressed through changes in light intensity, reflecting the Yellow River spirit of "continuous flow towards the sea".
