The Flow of Nature

This project is located in the north of Taiwan and near to the seaside, which is a very windy city but always has sunrise and sunset views surrounded by the apartment. The designer focused on bringing in dark tones of woods and earth-tone colors to create a warm natural vibe to incorporate with the local environment.

The light gray artistic painting that is applied on the walls of the living and dining room creates natural veined patterns. When natural sunlight rests on the walls, it creates a wave motion to flow into the house.

The non-built-in TV cabinet and moveable modular sofa cube designs allow multi-functional usages to the space. The project also brings in sustainable material (bamboo) and applied it on certain furniture, such as the side tables located in the bedroom and studio room, which are eco-friendly to the Earth.
