NEO·GENESIS

NEO·GENESIS is a unisex fashion collection inspired by my original illustration series, which envisions a unique creation narrative. The theme of this collection revolves around the concept that humans have the extraordinary ability to create our own genesis story — to define and explore personal answers to the ultimate truths of the universe. While we may be limited in our understanding of cosmic truths, we are granted the freedom to manipulate our minds and creativity, shaping our own realities. This collection is a reflection of that power, encouraging wearers to stay true to themselves while navigating their own creative universe.

The collection progresses through five distinct looks, each representing a chapter in the unfolding of this personal genesis story. A key inspiration for the designs came from my creation of a 3D pop-up graphic book, which visually brings the narrative to life. The pop-up mechanisms in the book are symbolic of the explosive potential of human imagination. The seemingly confined space of a single page can unexpectedly unfold into a vast, dynamic structure, just like how our creativity can expand and evolve, breaking boundaries in pursuit of self-expression. This sense of transformation and expansion is translated into the silhouettes and structures of the garments.

The garments are designed with transformative features, much like the pop-up elements in the book, offering wearers the flexibility to style and adapt the pieces to their own preferences. These features serve as a metaphor for how, while we may not have access to the ultimate truth of the universe, we have the power to manipulate our own creativity to find our personal truth. The interplay between structure and transformation invites the wearer into my own universe while empowering them to create their own.

Ultimately, **NEO·GENESIS** is a celebration of individuality and creativity. It’s a collection that encourages the wearer to explore their own path, to stay true to themselves, and to understand that the act of creation — both on the page and in life — is a limitless and transformative experience.
