The original structure of the house did not have a large activity area, and the lighting was weak, so the original layout of one room was abandoned. The open space was relatively "hollow", and the warmth was felt by the occupants through the embrace of color temperature and space. Based on her sleep schedule, I found that the relationship between sunlight and color during her resting time at home, and also used some color contrasts to create an open and rich living experience. The original structure was three rooms, with the living room surrounded by rooms and a kitchen. The lighting was unidirectional, so entering this house was very oppressive and the light was relatively dim. In the early design stage, I observed the changes in lighting in the house over time for several days. When planning the space, I directly opened a room and modified the structure of the kitchen space, allowing sunlight to reach the living room area to a greater extent. The same color has different effects on different materials, so the material supplier needs to compare various samples, and the production team needs to agree on cabinet door panels and customize red bricks of different specifications for repeated comparison, and then make the best choice. Improve the utilization rate of natural lighting in the space to reduce electricity consumption during the day without the need for lighting equipment; The required materials are mainly purchased locally, reducing transportation costs.
