Buchaechum

Inspired by Buchaechum, the traditional South Korean fan dance, and Mugunghwa (hibiscus), the national flower, the collection creates a sophisticated dialogue between Korean cultural heritage and contemporary Western design. The piece translates the fluid choreography of fan dancers and delicate hibiscus petal forms into modern silhouettes. Selected biodegradable muslin to natural-dye in red and calculated precise fabric quantities before dyeing to minimize waste and environmental impact.
