The designer thus used a mix-and-match design approach to create a unique residence through an open layout, smooth circulation planning, a variety of materials, light and elegant color combinations, and complete functionality. The spacious common area with a fireplace emphasizes the warmth of the home; the tea-making area next to the sofa with warm solid wood flooring and granite countertops lends a natural and unpretentious atmosphere; the central island between the kitchen and dining room provides a spacious area for the family to share a meal with friends; the outdoors tool room provides space for the gardening-enthusiastic client to store his gardening tools; and on the second and third floors, there are outdoor spaces that are breathtaking because of the view from the windows! Unlike ordinary residential designs, this project has a mix and match design approach, which combines the essence of various design styles and strikes a balance between simplicity and exquisite design language to create a comfortable and cozy home. The living room, dining room, kitchen, Japanese-style room, reading room, bedroom, and other areas have been carefully planned with an open and spacious vision to perfectly satisfy the owner's imagination of a vacation space and provide the whole family with various functions such as recreation, entertainment and socializing. The side of the staircase by the entrance is designed to eliminate the chunky feeling of the original staircase structure, while the rusted steel panels become the highlight of the entrance, showing the unique character of the house. The open cabinets in each space are designed to display artworks to satisfy the client who has a large personal collection. The home accessories and tile pendants with movie elements present a nostalgic and casual Hollywood atmosphere. The second and third-floor bedrooms are fully equipped with functional equipment, soft color matching, spacious and comfortable spatial scale, plus the lush green scenery outside the windows, to introduce the quiet and beautiful quality of space.
