In just over three months, Connect Homes produced and assembled 15 Shelter Four models to create Labath Landing, a 60-unit community providing interim housing for individuals experiencing homelessness in Rohnert Park, California.

This project highlights the power of prefab construction to deliver clean, modern housing quickly and efficiently. Built in a controlled factory environment, the modules were delivered 95% complete, reducing construction waste, minimizing on-site disruption, and ensuring a swift assembly process. The result is a high-quality, durable neighborhood that combines speed and precision with thoughtful design.

Labath Landing’s layout fosters a sense of community, with private units for residents and shared spaces that encourage connection and support. The clean, modern aesthetic promotes dignity and comfort, creating a welcoming environment that feels like home. Unlike traditional temporary shelters, this neighborhood-style approach offers a foundation for stability and rebuilding lives.

The speed and efficiency of prefab construction were critical in addressing the urgent need for housing while maintaining exceptional quality. By reducing uncontrolled encampments and improving community safety, Labath Landing has had a measurable positive impact on Rohnert Park. Residents benefit from a supportive environment where they can access services and work toward transitioning to permanent housing.

Labath Landing sets a new standard for addressing homelessness through innovative design and technology. It proves that prefab construction can create not only housing but also sustainable, inclusive communities that transform lives and neighborhoods.
