Studio Yay’s collection of resort-wear handbags was inspired by the designer, Catherine's love of the ocean and her collection of shells and coral, displayed in a "cabinet of curiosities" in her home library. As a child, she loved staring at the fanciful, color-drenched illustrations in the book "The Sign of the Seahorse" which still sit on her bookcase.

Available in a rainbow of colors including bright pink, turquoise, white, apricot, and tortoiseshell, the shimmering acrylic purses instantly put the wearer in a vacation state of mind.

Each purse features two glossy natural nautilus shells accented with resin coral branches in red, orange, blue, or white. Natural baroque pearls peek out from the inside of the nautilus shells. No two pearls or shells are alike, making these handbags truly one of a kind. They are handmade in Atlanta, Georgia.
