In this three-story residence, a vintage minimalist style sets the tone, complemented by the LED light strips, arched doorway, linear details, and ceiling fan. The dark wooden flooring, an upholstered sofa, and rattan furniture pieces further enhance the serene and restorative ambiance at home. The first floor serves as a communal space, where an open layout not only creates a clear line of sight, but also a smooth passage for movement. To ensure greater privacy, the second and third floors are designated exclusively for private use. Each level is thoughtfully designed to serve a specific function, catering to the homeowner's lifestyle and unique needs.

Upon opening the door, the gray flooring subtly defines the mudroom, creating a seamless transition from the bustling outdoors to the warm and inviting interiors. A suspended deep brown shoe cabinet reduces the visual weight, while its openwork base extends seamlessly into a built-in wooden shoe bench. The use of consistent materials effectively fosters a sense of flow that gently guides the eye inward.

Since the original TV wall is relatively small, the design extends its surface to establish a more cohesive look while discreetly blocking direct views into the living room, enhancing the sense of privacy. A smooth archway unfolds, gracefully offsetting the presence of a low beam while elegantly defining the transition between the entryway and the living room. On the ceiling, curves, with their soft, undulating lines, naturally evoke a sense of calm and continuity, offering a visual and tactile antidote to the sharp edges and straight lines. The LED light strips create a relaxed and pleasant environment. Unlike a protruding shelf, the wall behind the sofa with a recessed niche ensures a clean facade, preserving the simplicity of minimalist aesthetics.

In the dining room and kitchen, the central island with smooth, curved edges creates a soft, welcoming look. Its surface is wrapped in kiln-changed tiles which reveal subtle variations in colors under the interplay of warm and natural light. The natural wooden dining table paired with rattan chairs can create an inviting and rustic dining atmosphere.
